Man allegedly slipped LSD into co-workers’ drinks to counter ‘negative energy’
A Missouri car-rental worker took his co-workers on a different kind of trip when he dosed them with LSD in a half-baked scheme to counteract their “negative energy,” according to a report.
The unidentified 19-year-old Enterprise Rent-A-Car worker admitted to spiking his co-workers’ drinks with acid after he was arrested last Monday, the Kansas City Star reported.
“They were too uptight, and they needed to have better energy,” he told police, according to local paper The Leader.
His manager caught him “acting weird” and “messing with” someone’s drink while holding a water dropper but didn’t call the cops until two other employees — a 24-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman — began acting erratically.
They were taken to the hospital while the drugs wore off.
The 19-year-old faces charges of second-degree assault and possession of a controlled substance, pending the outcome of a police lab test on the co-workers’ drinks.
